One tiny paw has already made it through the home office door, and Miffy is clearly not giving up there. Her foster mom is trying to work on the other side while the cat peers through the narrow gap, meowing every time she is told to wait.
In the video shared by @captainmagnusthecat, the foster cat pushes one paw farther inside, plants another against the wall, and even rises onto her hind legs to find a way through. Mom keeps explaining that she needs focus time, but Miffy has several loud complaints first. Eventually, she gets one promise: work comes first, then play. That seems to calm her down for now.

The door is barely open, but Miffy is making excellent use of the available space. Her foster mom is inside working when Miffy appears on the other side, peeking through the crack with one paw already poking into the room. Mom asks, “What?” Miffy answers with a long, very unhappy meow. “No, I’m working.” That does not seem to settle the matter.
Mom explains that Miffy can’t come in, but the foster cat simply stretches her paw farther through the gap. She pauses there, then lets out another complaint, apparently not convinced that this arrangement is fair. “I know, I know,” Mom says. Miffy responds with another meow.
Then she slaps a paw against the wall. Mom tries to tell her she needs “focus time,” but Miffy is still looking for an opening. At one point, she gets up on her hind legs and tries to squeeze her way through the door. Mom repeats that she can’t come in, which earns an even longer meow. That finally makes Mom laugh.
Working from home has clearly become a negotiation. Mom eventually offers a deal: she will finish working, then come out and play with Miffy. The cat’s next meow is much softer, and she seems willing to wait. The caption recalls “sweet sweet Miffy” and says the attitude-filled foster cat has since found a home where she can boss her forever humans around for the rest of her life. The clip has been viewed more than 1,800 times.
