You heard it here first, folks: straight from the emergency vet’s mouth, kylin is a drama queen. After her vaccines yesterday, she refused to eat, move, drink or pee, turning up her nose at even her beloved treats. She added a limp for good effect and convincingly felt like she had a fever this morning. We packed off to the er, where they agreed she was acting like a sick cat but had no other symptoms whatsoever to back it up aside from a slight fever by the time we got in, so a dose of steroids for caution and we are back home with instructions to put her in places where she has to practice walking on her own. Now finally eating contentedly BOTH breakfasts, as Ailey was her usual picky self with my chicken soup option this morning.
