Cute but if we are being accurate only a small percentage died off to the meteor. The common consensus is that the dinosaurs were already dying off due to diminishing food supplies and the meteor was just the proverbial straw.

Asteroid. The meteor is nothing more than the glow of an object hitting the atmosphere. Meteoroids and asteroids are small and big rocks in space. If one survives its entry we call it a meteorite.
