It’s and we’d like to introduce you to someone very special. Meet Cole. Cole is a feral kitty who was injured before he came to us, by either a predator or hit by a car. @kitsaphumanesociety helped him get emergency surgery to amputate his back left leg and tail. Cole had 3 strikes against him when it came to adoption. 1, he wasn’t suitable for a typical indoor adoption. 2, he’s an amputee and could be special-needs down the road. 3, he’s black colored and black animals have the lowest adoption rate than any other color. With all these things going against him, we opened our barn to him in early November. He spent 4 weeks in the acclimation enclosure being treated for roundworms (he had it BAD) and was released mid-December. He has adapted really well, is fitting in, and loving now! He’s still relatively feral, we haven’t tried petting him, but he will come within reach. When this boy runs, you would NEVER know he’s a kitty. Cole found his safe place to land at STL. He was the last intake for 2018 and the last intake until we have enough funds coming in to care for all our current residents. 🐈 🖤 You can help by signing up on Patreon! www.patreon.com/skysthelimitsanctuary Thank you and help us welcome Cole Kitty! 🖤🙌🏼 .
