Oh and it turns out our little Zephyr has a chronic illness called feline gingivostomatitis. It’s such a painful condition. I hate that he’s in so much pain. His poor mouth gets so sore and he doesn’t want to eat or take his medicine. Throughout the whole thing he’s a trooper and doesn’t complain the poor thing. I just wish he didn’t have a lifelong illness. The vet said if it gets too bad they’ll have to pull out all his teeth. It’s the reason he’s been getting regular infections in his mouth with such sore gums and lips. And his paws swell up too. I feel ya buddy. I just wish it wasn’t this way.
