The felines were surrendered to the shelter after their owner moved. Thus, the duo ended up losing the only home they had ever known. Moreover, the shelter ended up becoming really stressful for them. As such, the shelter team tried to make their stay as short as possible.
Mickey, 10, and Oliver, 15, are bonded best friends who desire to stay together.
